Smadar Fogel, JGooders co-founder:
I’m excited and looking forward to JGooders launching. It almost feels like giving birth.
All my professional life I have planned projects aimed at improving the quality of life for people in Israel primarily in connection to world Jewry, together with my longtime partner, Ronit Dolev.
This project is a very different one – it has the power to make a major impact and influence the long-term interrelationship between world Jewry and Israel.
JGooders is built on existing and future trends: technologies and platforms that appeal to the young generation and enable everyone to do good in various ways, connect to others and influence others to do good.
We established the JGooders arena for everybody. Every charity can present projects on the site and everyone wishing to do good can find their chosen path and means to Do Good. Everybody can donate, volunteer or network.
We tried to introduce innovative models and new concepts. Although some of them exist in various forms, JGooders integrates and combines them differently, creating something special and unique.
People all around the world understand that doing good not only makes one feel good, it makes the world a better place.
We initiated this project to create a real change in the Jewish philanthropic world. We want to introduce philanthropy in a way that will appeal to the young generation as well, will become part of their value system and, hoping that they too will pass it on to the following generation.
This is a pioneering and challenging task.
We need you all to join forces with us to make it happen. Be part of JGooders. Be a JGooder.
