Omanoot - Israel through art

Omanoot

One of the nicest things about JGooders, is that we are available and affordable for nonprofits of all sizes, from the biggest to those just starting out.  We derive much satisfaction when a small, new nonprofit with a creative and go-getting staff and volunteers, leverages JGooders tools and services to help them raise funds for their start-up organization.

One such organization is Omanoot, a new nonprofit based in Tel-Aviv that aims to promote Israeli art and to teach about Israel through the arts. By building a comprehensive website that makes Israeli music, film and visual art easily accessible online, and providing educational materials based on this media, Omanoot will offer a refreshing and dynamic lens through which to view Israel.

As a new organization in today’s challenging economy, Omanoot has benefited greatly from the support of many individuals who have contributed smaller donations online through JGooders.  In addition to the traditional channels of grants and larger donors, Omanoot has developed a number of strategies to work within today’s constraints of non-profit work.

One of Omanoot’s major projects has been the launch of a number of email viral campaigns, integrating exciting new media by artists we are connected to with requests for donations.  The organization writes, “The services provided by JGooders have been critical to facilitate the logistics of these campaigns. By inviting friends and members of our extended network to contribute what they can, Omanoot has succeeded in developing a strong online donor basis and gaining substantial support for our project’s activities.”

We wish Omanoot every success in their exciting initiative, and look forward to helping them reach out even further to promote Israeli artists around the globe!
